New house in Texas

We were looking for land to build on or a house we could call home. We found this one and while it did not have everything we wanted it had lots of potential. It had vinyl floors so the first thing we did was put down wood floors in every room except the kitchen and baths. We will put ceramic /slate down there after our knees recover from doing the wood.

Our garden. The onions were planted by the previouse owners. We planted spinach, blue potatoes, garlic, red onions, carrots and radishes so far.

Found in the woods behind the house. We can hear coyotes howl all the time so I think this is one.

The wild flowers are in full bloom everywhere. This is about 1/2 mile from our yard which looks like this too but with more trees.
